Educators use a lot of third party copyright material, and often create their own copyright works or collaborate with other parties (vendors, partners, students, etc.) to create works.
IPOS International (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Intellectual Property of Singapore) worked very closely with educators and MOE to specially curate and develop this programme for educators and MOE officers.
The objective of this programme is to equip MOE Teachers and Officers with the skills and knowledge to understand and address intellectual property (IP) challenges faced in their course of work.
Hear from our participants:
“Every aspect of the course is useful. The examples and case studies help to reinforce concepts learnt”
“The tutor is very engaging and knowledgeable in MOE-specific, practical matters and contexts.”
“Thank you for the very enlightened materials and instructions.”
"This course was informative and useful for me as a school leader. There was good interaction between the trainer and participants and examples cited were authentic and relatable. The course was packed with many gems. After attending the course, I have a clearer understanding of IP matters. It also allowed me to better guide my department heads in the use of resources in their work. To deepen the collective understanding in the school, some of my Heads of Department also attended the course so that they in turn can provide guidance to teachers under their charge. As educators who value knowledge creation and use, I strongly recommend this course for everyone."
