IPOS International Business Continuity Planning (BCP) FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Impact of COVID-19 on IPOS International’s operations

Is IPOS International operational? Is your office open?

Yes, IPOS International is operational, though we have enacted our Business Continuity Plan. Our office is currently closed.

I have a matter pertaining to IPOS International. Should I come by your office?

In view of the current COVID-19 situation, our office is currently closed.

Instead, you may contact us at [email protected]. We seek your understanding that there might be a delay in our response to your request/query at this time.

Will IP Academy courses continue to be run?

Yes, however due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, we will endeavour to have IP Academy’s courses conducted online in light of the new measures announced on 3 April 2020. Please check here or email us at [email protected] for more information.

Can I get a refund if I wish to cancel my registration for a course, due to COVID-19? Is there a discount for courses that have been shifted online?

If you do not feel that our e-learning options suit your needs, we encourage you to consider postponing rather than cancelling your course. For course withdrawal requests, please write in to the course manager/administrator at [email protected]. There will be no discounts for courses conducted online as the training objectives will continue to be met.

Can I still consult an IP Strategist during this period?

Yes, you can still consult an IP Strategist virtually. IPOS International supports meeting online via audio or video conference calls. You can also reach us at [email protected].

Is the IP Week event still happening?

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the IPOS family has decided to postpone the IP Week @ SG event, scheduled on 25-26 Aug 2020, to August/September 2021.

This was a difficult decision, especially given the significance and support that past editions had received from the innovation community. But it is more important to prioritise the health and safety of our friends, partners, speakers, vendors, and participants, who have committed their unequivocal support for the event.

While the event will be postponed, the IPOS family has plans to celebrate IP Week @ SG 2020 digitally, and will be updating the programme in due course. For further updates, please visit www.ipweek.sg.

I have other questions – who should I reach out to?

You may contact us at [email protected]. We seek your understanding that there might be a delay in our response to your request/query at this time.
