Celebrated by over 190 member states of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), World IP Day (WIPD) is an annual event to honour the role of IP in encouraging innovation and creativity. Themed “IP & SMEs: Taking your ideas to market”, this year’s WIPD looks at how IP assets can drive business development, economic recovery and human progress.
Join us for the WIPD virtual celebration on 26 April, 10am – 11:30am, which will see the launch of the Singapore IP Strategy (SIPS) 2030 by Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, and Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law. Find out how SIPS 2030 can support greater economic growth through intangible assets and IP.
After the SIPS launch and WIPD celebrations, there are also a series of virtual events, organised by IPOS and our partners in conjunction with WIPD, which will be held in the coming month. For more information, please click here.
