The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) has successfully renewed its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification.1 Singapore is amongst the International Authorities under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) with this certification.2
Innovators can be confident in using IPOS’ high quality and timely patent services to launch their patented products or services from Singapore and through Singapore to new markets effectively. In addition, with IPOS’ multilateral and bilateral agreements internationally and in ASEAN, innovators can leverage on IPOS’ patent reports to accelerate their patent application processes in more than 30 markets.3
This is a testimony of IPOS’ commitment to a continuous pursuit in delivering quality improvements to meet the expectations and growing needs of the international innovation community. In 2018, IPOS achieved the ISO certification for its patent search and examination administration. The latest renewal extends the certification to its full suite of key patent processes for both national and international patent applications.
