Singapore, 6 September 2019—IPOS international today signs its first tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a leading Russian venture capital fund and global enterprise for innovative sportswear materials.
The Russian Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) and Sport & Fashion Management Pte Ltd (SFM), wish to collaborate in creating a platform for technology transfer between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Singapore. SFM owns one of the top 10 major laboratories specialising in the development and commercialisation of new materials for clothing and footwear, Sportsmaster Innovation Centre (SIC). SIC is also rated third worldwide in the development of new materials. The collaboration will focus mainly on:
IPOS International will work with IIDF and SFM on developing intellectual property (IP) protection strategies for their technology and product portfolio, as well as IP commercialisation strategies which include intangible asset audit and risk profiling, trade secrets management framework, global licensing strategies and frameworks, technology landscape scans and business intelligence gathering. IPOS International will deploy its unique capabilities in assisting IIDF and SFM to grow and scale the business in Singapore and into the international market.
The MoU parties also plan to engage partner networks to provide high-quality multidisciplinary expertise for the project in terms of communication with the international scientific community, intellectual property protection and management, venture investment, development, technology scaling and commercialisation.
