How you can contribute 

The Information Technology (IT) Unit plays a pivotal role in managing and providing operational support to ensure that the technology needs of IPOS International are being met.

Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, the IT Project Coordinator is responsible to assist the Applications Project Manager in the project coordination to achieve the overall success of the projects where the projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with the governance framework, including security and resilience while managing the Business Requirements and Functional Solution aspects of the project. Responsibilities

As an IT Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:

• Ensure that projects are executed based on the project plan to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameters of cost, duration and quality.
   
• Ensure that the project schedule and activities based on appropriate project implementation methodology are followed.
   
• Identify potential project risks and its implication to the organisation and recommend mitigating measures to ensure that the risks are properly addressed.
   
• Implement operation and maintenance processes that meet the business objectives and comply with the relevant policies.
   
• Perform business analysis, including analysing organisation needs, scoping the problem, developing business cases to address the problem document requirements, sourcing and evaluating alternatives, and recommending solutions that best fit the organisation's needs.
   
• Act as the change agent for project transition, including the smooth and seamless coordination of critical milestones and ensuring that these milestones are met.
   
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or their representative.

Are you the one? Please write to us if you have/are: 

• Relevant qualification preferably in Information Technology, with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management roles;
   
• A good understanding of Project Management, as well as familiarity with IT;
   
• Meticulous and professional in handling project information;
   
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;
   
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of products (especially doc, excel and ppt);
   
• Experience in managing outsourced IT service providers would be an advantage; and
   
• Willing to work hard and under pressure in a dynamic and challenging environment.
